There are sereval buses you can take. Following are buses that takes you to Woodland checkpoint. More detailed regarding bus timing and location information can be found here

  • Public Bus 160, 170, 950
  • Advabce Coach AC7 (From Yishun and Kotaraya)
  • Singapore - Johore Express (From Queen Street and Larkin)
  • Causeway Link CW1 , CW2 , CW3, CW3S, CW4, CW4S, CW5, CW6
  • Transtar Express TS1, TS8
  • Compass Coaches

For me, I took bus 950 from Woodland Bus Interchange near Woodland Mrt

From Woodland Checkpoint to JB Checkpoint:

When you are cleared at the woodland checkpoint, go down the escalator and head towards bus 160, 170, 950. Note: Take any buses that come first. Charges will be the same.

On your way to JB Checkpoint!

Once you have been cleared from JB Checkpoint, you will come across this small shop called 'global mart'. Follow the red arrow to exit from Malaysia immigration check.

Congrats! You are offically in Malaysia

JB Checkpoint to Bus Terminal:

Take the escalator down to the bus terminal. If not, you can check out City Square Mall if you head straight.

It does not matter if you take buses from bus lane 2 or lane 3. These two lane buses will reach KSL Mall and Holiday Plaza. Bus charges the same too at RM 1.50

You have reached KSL MALL. If your destination is to Holiday Plaza, stay on the bus. (ps: I know you are scared at this point as most passenger would have alighted at this stop. Fret not, the final stop is Holiday Plaza. To have a peace of mind, clarify with the bus driver.

You are at Holiday Plaza once you see this KFC sign. Bus driver will alight you anywhere before the traffic light

How to walk from Holiday Plaza to KSL Mall:

(From Holiday Plaza point of view) Notice the building with the red arrow pointing on it. Walk toward it. KSL Mall is within 5 min walking distance from Holiday Plaza.

Walk towards the red arrow point to it. Yes, it's the same KFC sign as before.

Follow the red arrow. The light brown and orange building at far left of the picture is KSL Mall.

How to return back to JB Checkpoint from KSL Mall:

To return back to JB Checkpoint, take the exit where you alight. If you're unsure, the exit is between Berlian Optical (G-02) and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (G-03)

How to return back to JB Checkpoint from Holiday Plaza:

The bus will stop anywhere after the traffic light to pick up passenger back to JB Checkpoint.

View from inside of the bus at Holiday Plaza stop.

The bus will travel back to JB Checkpoint. Follow the crowd if you are unsure where to walk.

JB Checkpoint to Woodland Checkpoint:

Once you have cleared JB Checkpoint, head to the sign 'Departure Platform'

Take bus back to Woodland Checkpoint. Note: It does not matter which public transport you take (Bus 160, 170, 950). Charges will be the same

Bus will alight you around here. Follow the red arrow

Once you have cleared Woodland Checkpoint, take the bus that will take you to your preferred destination. For me, I will queue bus 950 as it takes me to woodland where I can take MRT home.
